Rehabilitation Center Divisions
Nursing

Oak Manor has the knowledgeable and skilled nursing staff to meet your healthcare needs. We have programs specializing in dementia care, short term rehabilitation following illness or hospitalization, long term care and wound care. Our nursing staff strives to stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in health care. We will work with you, your physician and the entire rehab team to provide compassionate and highly skilled clinical care.

Physical Therapy

Our Physical Therapists will work with you and your physician to create a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs and goals. Our focus is on maximizing your functional independence by improving muscle strength, joint motion, coordination and balance. Pain relieving treatments are also used to promote comfort and mobility.

Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapists will assist you with maximizing your activities of daily living. These include dressing, grooming, bathing, self-feeding and toileting. Assessment and instruction in the use of adaptive equipment is often performed to promote safety and independence.

Speech Therapy

The Speech and Language Pathology Department provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for adults experiencing swallowing and communication problems arising from neurological impairments. The role of the therapist includes determining safe diets and treatment plans for remediation of swallowing problems. The speech pathologist also develops remediation and strategy training for impairments noted in the areas of reading, writing, speaking, memory, attention and judgement.
